- Textile: Age pre 1930's. It is a basic Habutai silk weave originally made for the lining of a Haori jacket. A delightful depiction of Japanese cranes and herons on a magenta base! There are significant dyestuff flaws and some frays on the edges due to age, which could be noticeable when wearing. Please see all photos. These flaws can easily be overlooked given the captivating motif and the light smooth feel of this vintage textile
